The Altering Eye

A solo exhibition by Julia Biasi
April 22 - May 12, 2016

The Altering Eye is a collection of new paintings by Julia Biasi.  The conceptual work touches on both a psychedelic and scientific aesthetic. Biasi’s study of science, space, and the philosophies of human existence, paints a picture of the thing which is in essence un-recordable, non material, and some might even consider spiritual.  In this series of paintings, the artist uses the concept of radiant energy as a visual shape through which to communicate her quest to uncover the ephemeral stuff that we, and everything perceivable, is made of.
